Shipping is quite tricky and costly for catamaran boats because of the larger volume and added cost of shipping.
However, we developed new way to assemble the boat so we could load the boat into two units of 40ft HQ container.
We designed the boat as 28ft long in LOA so the boat can be loaded into container easily and kept the minimum size for user’s sailing convenience.
In terms of LOA, Smart Cat S280 is 7ft shorter than other competing models which gives you excellent control and 17.4ft of beam will provide you very roomy cockpit.
Smart Cat S280 can be shipped anywhere, at a lower cost of shipping than finished product transportation.
A flat deck design and minimized equipment makes it easy for users to actively move around with extra space to put items.
The forward deck features a 6 foot trampoline that can be used for adjusting the trim or lounging coupled with an
wide step structure that can be used as comfortable seats and lounge.
And there will be a targa made of pipes and FRP seats and cushions for sitting. The hard top can also be used to mount solar panels.
